Slant monuments offer a little more space to memorialize your loved one. Most slants are 2 feet long. The height varies between 16 inches to 18 inches. You can place a slant memorial on the concrete footing in the cemetery; or you can add a granite base too. There are larger slants for double plots that range from 30 inches long to 48 inches long. Granite colors are varied but most often in the grey, pink, red, or black granite families.
A slant monument has lettering room for the name, birth, passing dates and one or two lines of verse. Sandblast artwork can be added in a variety of places on the slant. You can also add a porcelain photo or an etching photograph (black granite only). Granite vases are an option if you have purchased a granite base.
