When our sandblasting team returns to inscribe the stone, they measure the depth of the lettering to ensure that new inscription is consistent with the existing lettering featured on the monument. The end product is new lettering that looks like it was placed there when the monument was originally installed. Most inscriptions proofs are designed within a few days and lettering completed within four weeks. Nearly all inscriptions are done on site even work that is hand tooled.
